Target Group

The target group consists of teachers of languages in primary education (possibly also Kindergarten) in pre- and in-set contexts, teacher trainers, advisers and inspectors. The main languages we address are French and English.

The partnership will provide them with:

• materials for the classroom, documented with guidelines enlightening the approach;
• training in use of the materials and classroom organisation;
• reflection and interaction with peers in order to result in real learning;
• an overview of what the approach consists of and why it works with their target audience(Framework);
• immersion opportunities.

They will receive the training to face new curricular demands. We expect them to be happier and more comfortable at work.

On the long run we expect the impact of their learning to grow towards new routines and to an increased expertise, to have the opportunity to share their beliefs with more others who experienced the same training and to encourage towards further learning. The amount of materials available will grow because each Comenius course will result in the development of new activities for learners. Information to editors of textbooks will also contribute to broader dissemination of the good.

The other beneficiaries will be the children, who can benefit from a motivational approach to languages and cultural diversity. We expect them to experience language learning and cultural diversity as fun, interesting and from there we want to trigger their curiosity for lifetime. Being better and happier communicators, they will be able from benefiting from all the good Europe can offer them.
