Coordinator

The project is coordinated by vzw Nascholing in het Katholiek Onderwijs, the in-service training organisation of the Catholic Board of Education in Flanders, more specifically by the International Relations Unit.

Karine Van Thienen has 11 years expertise in EU project work. She studied Roman Languages. Besides European project work on assessment of communicative competences, second language acquisition, self-directed learning, quality in education, change agency and implementation of innovation, she works as a teacher trainer for primary, secondary and adult education, disseminating amongst others the European project outcomes amongst teacher trainers and advisors and in schools all over Flanders. Before taking up her position at VSKO she was a teacher of French. She has been involved in the initial teacher training at the university of Louvain. She is also an advisor for French teachers. She is the project coordinator.

Greet Van Mello is responsible for French at the Cathlic Board of Primary Education in Flanders. She contributes to the French curricula in Primary Education. She also works as a school advisor in Brussels.
